Tasting Notes
Galatrona is Petrolo’s ” Grand-Cru ” of Merlot , coming from the vineyard of the same name planted between the end of the eighties and the mid-nineties with low vigor Bordeaux clones . The particular soil of medium texture rich in clay with galestro, alberese and sandstone allows the concentration of all the noble components of the grape, fundamental for the characteristics of great structure , elegance , balance and persistence, desired for this wine.
